• Author of  Wi-Fi Home Networking, a book now on sale at Barnes&Noble and at other nationwide retailers. It includes 63 illustrations, 320 pages of text and a supplemental CD-ROM.

• Web design and maintenance for the Ojai Rotary West,  Ojai Valley Museum, Ojai Wine Festival,  Attitude Adjustment Shoppe, Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association.

• Installation and support of PCs and networks for those sites, using knowledge gained from eighteen years as a data networking engineer at Verizon.

   January 2001 to 2002.   Administered, configured and monitored 100 of Verizon's western US routers, and attached hubs via HP Openview.  Windows and NT Desktop and application support.

Alcatel Networks (www.alcatel.com), Newbridge Networks, UB Networks  (Ungermann-Bass)
    1986 to 2001. Monitored and replaced LAN hubs with Bay/Nortel equipment.  Coordinated network troubleshooting with Verizon National Operations Center.  Designed and maintained online inventory and activity log databases.  Winner, ACE award.
